Executive education scholarships put Emirati women’s development in focus

A scholarship can make room for focused professional learning. The important first step is matching the opportunity to the applicant and the work she wants to develop.

The announced opportunity

On 28 September 2026, DIFC Academy and London Business School announced ten executive education scholarships for Emirati women from the DIFC community. The announcement describes the opportunity and provides a registration route. It does not confirm that places remain available today or that awards have already been made.

Choose a learning goal before writing an application

Start with a situation you would like to handle better: leading a growing team, evaluating a strategic choice or communicating a difficult decision. Describe what makes it demanding and what you hope to learn. That is a stronger basis for choosing a programme than a general wish to add another qualification.

Consider how the learning would fit around existing responsibilities. Ask about the schedule, delivery format, preparation and assessment. If employer support is needed, discuss the time commitment and how the learning might be shared afterwards. A scholarship removes neither the work of studying nor the need for a suitable programme.

Check the current terms directly

Prospective applicants should confirm eligibility, deadlines, covered costs and selection requirements with the organisers through the official announcement. Avoid assuming that an older registration link means applications are still open. For eligible women, the announcement is a useful lead to investigate; admission, funding and later career outcomes remain separate matters.
